Click here to hear "Planxty Mr Lipscomb" and "Green Grow The Rashes O" from Unredeemed. And two more songs as well!

Wrennah didn't like the title, "No Cash Value" so that won't be the title. I was gonna call it "Saved But Unredeemed" but that is too long and obscure. (See Footnote)

A note about  "The Boys Of The Old Brigade". This song was written by a fellow named Pat McGuigan. He was a member of the band "Barleycorn". This band predated Planxty and Mr Moore himself. A very influential group of very good musicians. I have repeatedly seen this song credited as "Traditional". Implying that it was authored by an unknown person. That isn't true and Mr McGuigan deserves the credit for a realy fine song. I have changed the arrangement and tempo somewhat but the song is pure Paddy. I have been told that Paddy is still living somewhere in Ireland. If anybody knows anything about him please email me with the info. A craftsman is worth his pay. God bless the Boys!

FOOTNOTE: "Saved but unredeemed" was a statement made by some Roman bishop about the Irish Christians of the10th or 11th century(I think). After my little near death experience last summer I thought it was appropriate.
